The fascinating world of brown and coloured paper cords and of spinned paper yarn is steeped in tradition, characterised by innovations and development. Since centenaries, these are applied in Asia in different cultures not only for the everyday use, but also for creative utilisation.
PlantoBio Eco Bio Systems GmbH is the pioneer in the paper yarn area. The employees and the management of this innovative company in the south of Styria have concerned themselves with the development of new paper yarn sorts for years as well as with the replacement of plastic products in the agriculture, household, garden and in everyday use with products made of renewable raw materials.
The renewable raw materials are renowned products coming from living matter and from persons used for purposes outside the food branch.
The biodegradable products can be made of renewable as well as of fossil raw materials or a blending of both. The focus lies on biodegradable materials instead of conventional plastic.
Our products are for following user and hosts: horticulture, agriculture, hospitals, landscaping, landscape architect, environmental adviser, market garden, florists, tree nurseries, obst culture, wine culture, bio-world, cemeteries, communes, schools, retirement homes, road construction, forestry, as well as every person, who still uses plastic material in or on the ground.
The agriculture in middle Europe alone wastes about 800 000 tons of plastic every year. Nearly a third of it won’t be collected, stays on the ground and damages therefore permanently the soil.
PlantoBio encourages the local agriculture through the production of paper yarns for example. The renewable raw material “wood” is used for the producing of unbleached cellulose in unbleached kraft paper. Rest of sawn wood and trawling wood are the base materials. Through the use of our high developed paper cords in the agriculture, in the garden as well as in household, the circle of the nature closes itself.
